The petrochemical industry in the GCC region has become a major investment opportunity for the Gulf states as they set to become the world's largest source of petrochemicals and plastics products in the world.

Last edition,  ARABPLAST 2011, registered 703 exhibitors, 56% of which actually signed and sealed lucrative deals at the show it self. Visitors came from 107 different countries.
