Molecor receives the Sustainable, Spanish Plastics Industry seal on World Environment Day

Every year on 5 June, we celebrate World Environment Day, first declared by the UN General Assembly in 1972, in a bid to raise awareness among the global population on how important it is to care for our ecosystems and promote respect for the environment.

This year, Molecor has achieved the Sustainable, Spanish Plastics Industry seal awarded by the ANAIP (Spanish Association for Plastics Industries). This EU certification mark was officially presented today, coinciding with World Environment Day. It recognises companies in the industry for their efforts to drive sustainability and keep their production in Spain.

Molecor is committed to the environment, working to develop systems and products that are increasingly efficient and sustainable. To this end, it has taken part in the Association's Communication Committee, joining the task force that developed this certification mark, which is the result of a commitment to reliability, thoroughness and excellence.

The company took part in the pilot test, completing the application process to assess the set times and protocols. This certification mark recognises that Molecor complies with the environmental, social and financial criteria necessary to manufacture its products and be sustainable at the same time.

Its ecoFITTOM® fittings and TOM® pipes are aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a view to achieving a more sustainable future for all.
