The 19th congress will take place from 11th to 16th February in Bamako, Mali. The main theme of this congress which will gather more than 1,500 participants will be: “Accelerating the access to sanitation and water for all in Africa amidst climate change”.
The African Water Association (AfWA) congress, which takes place every two years, is a technical and scientific forum that evaluates the development of the water, sewerage and environment sectors in Africa.
This event of the water and sewerage sectors will provide you with lot of opportunities to exchange and meet sector related experts, political decision makers, academics, scientists, equipment suppliers and opinion leaders. During this Congress, AfWA will organize an international exhibition related to the latest technologies, a dialogue and strategic reflection platform on governance and development of the water sector in Africa.
