La Caixa and ENISA (Spanish Innovation Company) have awarded the madrilenian company Molecor in the category CRECES XXI.

Last October 10th  2012, the Entreprenueur XXI Awards were delivered in Barcelona, Spain. The madrilenian company Molecor has been awarded with the Prize Entrepreneur XXI, sponsored by La Caixa and ENISA ( Spanish company of Innovation) and worth 100.000 Euros. Mr. Jose Manuel Romero, Molecor's CFO and one of its three founding members was there to receive this recognition.

This prize rewards the best innovative companies from two to seven years of activity, acknowledging their contribution to the society with their sustainable and cost efficient solutions. This is the reward of the highest monetary worth given in Spain to entrepreneurs.

This 2012 edition of the Entrepreneur XXI Award, has reached a new record of candidates. A total of  806 companies have participated, which is a 33% of increase over the past edition.

Molecor, the Spanish company specialized in the technology and manufacturing of PVC-O pipes for the transport of pressure water, has prevail over five other finalist companies: Avinent, ParkHelp, ReviewPro, Social Point y Zyncro.  Molecor was founded in 2006 and it is  the only company in the world specialized in the development of the latest technology in PVC-O, being a technological, industrial and export company in continuous growth, which no doubt greatly contributes to the industrial fabric in Spain.

According to Mr. Jose Manuel Romero: “Many excellent projects of innovation are being carried out in Spain by young companies, with a definitely innovative spirit, and the institutional support it is essential for these entrepreneurs”.
