Bolonia, Italia
From October 5 to 6, the second PVC4Pipes conference will take place in Bologna, Italy. The event will bring together companies from the PVC pipe and cable industry that are involved with sustainability and innovation with the aim of presenting and discussing the latest trends in both sectors, with a particular focus on sustainability and innovation. Molecor will participate in this event to present the ecoFITTOM® Oriented PVC fittings, highly sustainable products developed thanks to the company's efforts in R&D and its commitment to the environment.
The theme that will be addressed this year is Connecting Sustainability and Innovation. PVC4Pipes is ECVM's platform dedicated to the PVC pipe value chain, promoting the acceptance and use of PVC in pipe systems.
On the second day of the event, October 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Agustín Garzón, Molecor's Quality Manager, will participate in the event with the presentation "Innovations in PVC-O Fittings". He will highlight the importance of PVC-O in advancing towards sustainability in pressurized water pipes as well as highlighting the company's role in technological innovation.
The ecoFITTOM fittings, the first in the world in PVC-O, are compatible with other types of PVC and can be used in networks for the transport of drinking water, irrigation systems, industrial applications, reclaimed water, infrastructure networks, fire-fighting networks, etc., among other applications.
These fittings are manufactured in accordance with the Spanish standard for Oriented PVC UNE-CEN/TS 17176-3:2019. Currently, this range has diameters from DN110 mm to DN400 mm with a nominal pressure of 16 bar, although thanks to Molecor's continuous R&D process, this range will be progressively expanded.
