Molecor’s prominent presence at SMAGUA 2025

The International Water and Irrigation Exhibition, SMAGUA 2025, will host its 27th edition on 4, 5 and 6 March in Zaragoza. Since its inception half a century ago, SMAGUA has served as a key meeting point for professionals, experts and leading companies in the water sector. The 2025 edition will be particularly significant as it marks the event’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Once again, Molecor will take part in this well-established event, recognised as one of the premier trade fairs in the water sector. For this latest edition, the company will showcase its innovations in an exhibition space of over 80 m², further strengthening its presence at the event. Molecor’s stand will be located in Hall 4 – Stand E-F 9-14, where visitors can explore its extensive range of products for supply (TOM®, TR6® and ecoFITTOM®), drainage (SANECOR®) and construction (AR® Soundproof Drainage System) applications.

Its product range includes TOM® molecularly oriented PVC (PVC-O) pipes in diameters such as DN500 mm, DN630 mm, DN710 mm, DN800 mm, DN900 mm, DN1000 mm and DN1200 mm. These diameters have revolutionised the industry, as manufacturing them was inconceivable until Molecor’s technology emerged. As well as achieving these milestones, it has also developed fittings in the same material. The ecoFITTOM® fittings are a unique product currently manufactured in sizes ranging from DN110 mm to DN400 mm and for 16 bar nominal pressure.

Molecor recognises that water management is essential to guarantee the quality of the water supply and to use this limited resource more responsibly and efficiently. As a key highlight of the 2025 edition, Molecor will unveil its new TR6® oriented PVC pipe for irrigation at SMAGUA, an innovative product certified by AENOR in accordance with PVC-O standards EN 17176 and ISO 16422. This pipe is manufactured using the company’s exclusive technology, offering the irrigation sector a more tailored solution for the needs of farmers and crops.

TR6® oriented PVC pipes are the most sustainable irrigation solution on the market, thanks to their lower carbon footprint and reduced energy consumption throughout their entire life cycle. This new product, with a PN6 bar rating and a length of 6 metres, offers superior stiffness compared to other solutions with the same nominal pressure. With outstanding physical and mechanical properties, it also boasts an elasticity modulus over 15% higher than materials such as PVC-U. The TR6® pipe has become an excellent alternative for irrigation networks thanks to its hydraulic capacity, efficiency in the operating phase and its low maintenance costs, due to its excellent physical, mechanical and chemical properties.
