Molecor TOM® Oriented PVC pipes are currently the most sustainable on the market in this material, being able to be used for a large number of applications thanks to the wide range of diameters and pressures available, from DN90 mm to DN1200 mm in nominal pressures from 12.5 to 25 bar. Currently, Molecor also has fittings in this same material, PVC-O, the ecoFITTOM® fittings, with which a continuous solution is achieved with the same properties and characteristics in all the elements that form the network.

In addition to the possibility of making these joints between TOM® PVC-O pipes with ecoFITTOM® fittings, whose range is progressively expanding, other solutions can also be used to make a technically viable transition between the most commonly used materials and the TOM® pipes from Molecor.

The next Molecor webinar will be about this aspect, it will take place on July 2 at 11:00 a.m. (Kuala Lumpur time - 10:00 a.m. Yakarta time) Walter P. Pattynama, Molecor Asia Manager, will be in charge of directing this seminar that will last one hour with a question period at the end. Throughout the webinar, the most used procedures and fittings for joining the different existing materials with Molecor's TOM® 500 PVC-O will be exposed, as well as the factors that we have to consider when choosing the best way to join two pipes of different types and even sizes, since depending on the material of the pipes to be joined, it is likely that the nominal diameters do not coincide with their external diameters, a fundamental factor when choosing the connection fittings.

Choosing the right fittings depends on many factors to consider, not only on the brand or prestige of the manufacturer; we invite you to join the event on the 2nd July at 11:00 am (Kuala Lumpur time) - 10:00 am (Yakarta time) to learn about the different factors and possibilities to make these transitions between different materials.
