Molecor is celebrating International Women's Day by helping women who are at greater risk of exclusion to access employment

Like every year, on the 8th of March, Molecor will celebrate International Women's Day. This year, it will do so by supporting the latest initiative launched by the Adecco Foundation, the aim of which is to raise awareness about the barriers that many women still face and accelerate the employment of those at risk of poverty and/or exclusion.

At Molecor we work to create an increasingly inclusive, respectful, equal culture between men and women. Progress towards gender equality continues to be slow, which is why our company wishes to make an effort to reduce the pay gap experienced by women in our country, and reduce the female unemployment rate with a view to mitigating this situation.

Over the course of this week, the Adecco Foundation will intensify its labour guidance and intermediation activity by supporting more than 300 women in a vulnerable position to encourage their inclusion in the labour market through meetings, workshops and work groups in its different branches.

This initiative is being developed under the social mission #EmpleoParaTodas (Employment For All Women) and is aligned with the 2030 Agenda, responding to four Sustainable Development Goals: no poverty, reduced inequalities, gender equality, decent work and economic growth.

The Foundation has devised an awareness campaign named “Influencer de la exclusión” (Exclusion Influencer), which tells the story of Martina, a young, unemployed mother who starts to tell her story. It offers an extremely different vision of an influencer to the one we are used to seeing.
