Molecor is committed to being a part of the change on World Water Day

The United Nations first declared World Water Day on 22 March 1992. The main goal of this celebration is to shine a light on the global water crisis and raise awareness of how necessary this natural resource is.

The UN recognises water as a human right that is key to preserving life, but more than 2 billion people around the world do not have access to this resource, and it is estimated that 4.5 billion do not have a safe sanitation system for water consumption. This has major consequences: misery, poverty and the deaths of men, women and children every year.

One of the measures designed to tackling the world's water crisis was set with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 as part of the 2030 Agenda, the aim of which is to ensure access for all to sanitised water free from contamination by the year 2030. Given the nature of our company and its products, Molecor is also working on SDG 6, for which reason it is committed to “Ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all” in line with this date.

For this year's edition of World Water Day, the UN has chosen the slogan “Be the change you want to see in the world”, encouraging us to make moderate use of this resource because together, no matter how small our actions are, we can help to resolve the water crisis.

Here at Molecor, we want us all to join forces and start caring for, valuing and rationing the water we use in our daily lives to prevent its wastage. Water is a limited resource and greater awareness regarding its protection is required.

The company works to make this resource available to everyone, so more people can have access to potable water. At Molecor, we aim to respond to current global needs: eradicate poverty, protect the planet and improve people's well-being.

Remember that small gestures can have a big impact!
