Molecor, a leading company in supply, sanitation and building solutions, introduces its new ventilation part, a fitting that joins its wide range of products within the AR® Soundproof Evacuation System for the building market, the main characteristic of which is the shorter distance between axes for a secondary ventilation installation.
The main function of the ventilation network is to protect the hydraulic closures in the sewage drainage system. The incorrect design and size of this system can lead to poor ventilation and, consequently, to unpleasant odours from sanitary fittings.
This new fitting for the AR® Soundproof System addresses the issue of the mandatory secondary ventilation developed through a system of pipes that runs parallel to the main downpipe and special parts that connect to it, thus favouring an adequate air flow inside the downpipe, avoiding excessive depressions and pressures and, as a result, preventing unpleasant odours from entering the building. This part is vital for the correct connection and functioning of both parallel pipe lines that make up the secondary ventilation system. Furthermore, the vent pipe and the downpipe are connected through a very short section of pipe, at an angle towards the downpipe, thus preventing the entry of solid matter into the vent stack and, consequently, its possible clogging.
Molecor has designed this new ventilation part in accordance with the TBC (Technical Building Code) regulations regarding ventilation systems in buildings with more than 7 floors, although its use is recommended in any type of installation.
A compact, easy-to-install part with a diameter of 110 mm in the downpipe and 63 mm in the vent pipe, which will be compatible with the EVAC+® Evacuation System pipes. It will also have all the advantages offered by the AR® Soundproof Evacuation System, a pipe and fitting system designed and manufactured for fluid drainage in networks with minimum acoustic requirements, improving comfort in all types of buildings, as well as the quality of life of those who live in them. Furthermore, it has a fire performance rating of B-s1, d0 in accordance with UNE-EN 13501-1, the highest that a plastic material can achieve.
In its ongoing commitment to innovation in efficient plastic solutions for water conveyance, Molecor continues its expansion to offer the widest range of innovative products that seek to solve the problems demanded by the market.
