Young Water Professionals (YWP) supported by the Spanish Association of Water Supply and Sanitation (AEAS), IWA and the main companies in the water sector in Spain, together with the School of Industrial Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, organize the IWA YWP Spain Congress. This is a forum that provides the exchange of knowledge and news of the water sector and in which Molecor will actively participate in the Stand 2 - Water Cycle and 4.0 Water whit the presentation “PVC-O pipes and fittings, the most environmentally friendly solution for water transportation”.

The event will take place on November 12-15 in Madrid (Spain). The purpose of this congress is the exchange of knowledge and experiences among young professionals from the water sector, as well as providing networking opportunities.

AEAS, the Association of Water Supply and Sanitation of which Molecor is member, is Spanish representative of IWA and promoted in 2015 the creation of YWP-Spain with the aim of contributing to the present and the future of the water sector in Spain through the professional development, recognition and visibility of young professionals in the sector.

Among environmental management actions, water management should be based on the guarantee of its availability and quality, as well as on its efficient management, being necessary the modernization of water networks, and in the use of alternative hydric resources. In short, we must build sustainable and environmentally friendly hydraulic networks. Thanks to the molecular orientation process, PVC-O pipes and fittings present advantages applicable to both the quality of the product and its mechanical properties, as well as to the increased installation performance and the minimization of energy costs during operation, thus achieving very high-cost efficiency in the implementation of water networks.

This is due both to the energy efficiency achieved during manufacture and use and to the reduced CO₂ emission into the atmosphere throughout its life cycle, thus making a smaller contribution to the global greenhouse effect and climate change.
