The International Water and Irrigation Exhibition, SMAGUA 2025, will host its 27th edition on 4, 5 and 6 March in Zaragoza. Since its inception half a century ago, SMAGUA has served as a key meeting point for professionals, experts and leading companies in the water sector. The 2025 edition will be particularly significant as it marks the event’s 50th anniversary celebration.
Continuing its decarbonisation roadmap, after certifying the Loeches production plant, Molecor announces the extension of the scope of the Energy Management System certification for its Alcázar de San Juan, Alovera and Antequera production plants, according to the requirements of the UNE-EN ISO 50001:2018 standard, implemented during 2024.

As every year, Molecor will participate as an exhibitor at the Carrefour de Gestions Locales de l'Eau fair, which will take place on 22 and 23 January 2025 in Rennes, France. The 2024 edition recorded a significant increase of 15% in attendance compared to the previous year; and more than 16,000 participants and 600 exhibitors from different countries are expected for this edition.
Molecor has recently completed the verification of its Organisational Carbon Footprint (OCF), a report that measures the total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions into the atmosphere from the direct and indirect effects of the organisation's activities. The footprint calculation was performed for Scopes 1 and 2, analysing and calculating the emissions generated in 2022 and 2023, using 2022 as the base year.
Molecor obtains the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for another of the most significant products in its wide range of PVC plastic solutions for water: the TR6® pipe, the first PN6 oriented pipe for irrigation.
Molecor celebrates its recent adherence to the UN Global Compact, an action that shows the company's commitment to support and integrate the Ten Principles of the Global Compact in its business strategy, culture and daily operations, as well as to contribute to the United Nations Goals and, in particular, with regard to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Molecor announces its participation in the XXXVI ANEAS Annual Convention and Expo 2024, which will be held from November 19 to 22 in the city of Chihuahua. As a global leader in PVC-O and PVC solutions, the company will be present at stands 116, 121, and 134, with a 27-square-meter exhibition space that will feature, among others, a sample of the world’s largest diameter PVC-O pipe, the DN1200 mm.
