Once again, the TOM © Oriented PVC pipes have been found in the conferences of the course Design and Installation of Pipes, organized annually by the University of Salamanca.

Molecor, Spanish company specialized in technology and production of oriented PVC pipe (PVC-O) for the conveyance of water under pressure, has been present at the 14th edition of the Course on Design and Installation of Piping Systems that the University of Salamanca held at the Avila Polytechnic School from 27th to 29th October.

This course, a reference for training and learning for the entire sector, is an annual event for Molecor, in which annually participates.  This time, Molecor has given its presentation about PVC-O to TRAGSA (Agrarian Transformation Company, SA), who discussed his experience in the installation of large diameter TOM pipes in his conference "PVC-O pipes of DN500 and DN630 mm ZR in Murcia. "

It was highlighted, that the choice of PVC-O as alternative, was due to the advantages in commissioning work because of its usability and the substantial increase of hydraulic capacity, which together with the excellent physical and chemical properties, make the material very reliable in use in the conditions on site.

The TOM © PVC-O pipe, is the most sustainable option in the market, its environmental footprint is smaller, due to the  energy optimization and the lower CO2 emissions showing throughout his long lifetime. Also, the improved performance of installation, due to their ease of installation and lower weight, which significantly reduces execution times, bringing greater efficiency, which is achieved in the project. In this case, the TOM © diameters DN500 and DN630 mm pipes, manufactured by  Molecor in pressure 12.5, 16, 20 and 25 bar, allowing to undertake projects and technical solutions, which previously had no place without this material.
